Bad Tatzmannsdorf, August 17, 2023 | Celebrate like back then and experience a Kirtagsgaudi full of tradition and enjoyment at DAZUMAL Arkadenheuriger & Freilichtmuseum.

Just drop by and immerse yourself in the unique interplay of Burgenland history and quintessential Burgenland hospitality. At 10 a.m. the traditional Frühschoppen incl. beer tapping begins and continues into an entertaining afternoon. Live music from the tamburizza group Novi from Schachendorf and the 7-member music group moritz&co with their successful mixture of traditional and modern brass music will ensure the best atmosphere and festive mood. The Genussmarkt invites you to take a leisurely stroll through the numerous craft and gourmet stalls. As a highlight, all guests can experience the pulse of bygone times up close on a free tour of the open-air museum . Delicious regional delicacies will spoil the culinary palate on the festival lawn. A varied program awaits the youngest guests with face painting, a bouncy castle and a magic show. There are also great prizes to be won at the Kirtag raffle. (Note: The Kirtag is an outdoor event. In case of bad weather only a limited program is possible).

DAZUMAL Open air museum & arcaded wine tavern

The open-air museum Bad Tatzmannsdorf is considered the oldest of its kind in Burgenland and is listed by domestic and foreign tourism Internet portals in the leading position of the sights of Bad Tatzmannsdorf and surroundings. In the museum complex different traditional building types from the region of southern Burgenland were gathered, such as residential buildings, barns and other larger and smaller utility buildings, of which nowadays only a few examples are left. Thus, on the one hand, their substance was saved from disappearing and, on the other hand, they provide visitors with an overview of rural building in pre-modern times. DAZUMAL stands for life of the past and the enjoyment of today. The aim is to combine a museum rich in tradition with Burgenland culinary delights to create a small, fine world of experience.
