The REDUCE health resort is a place of well-being. Our guests can spend a spa stay as well as vacation with us. The resort is composed of 4 spa hotels, 1 spa center and 2 thermal hotels (REDUCE Hotel Vital ****S and REDUCE Hotel Thermal ****S), which are connected with each other. The Dazumal Open Air Museum & Arkadenheuriger Bad Tatzmannsdorf is also part of the REDUCE health resort.

Bad Tatzmannsdorf is located in the middle of southern Burgenland and is nestled in a gently rolling landscape. The extensive Kurpark with running and walking track invites you to linger. When can I move into my room?

On the day of arrival your room will be ready for occupancy from 15:00 at the latest. We will try to give you your room as soon as it is ready for occupancy. In many cases this is already possible before 15:00.

Is there a parking lot in the hotel?

Our guests have the possibility to park directly in front of our hotels. We also offer free garage parking. (subject to availability)

Until when should I check out?

Room release on the day of departure until 11:00 am.
If you still want to spend the entire departure day with us, you can ask at the reception if a late check-out is possible.

What do I have to consider when using the spa?

The "realm of the senses" in the REDUCE Hotel Vital****S can only be used after moving into the room.

The thermal garden at the REDUCE Hotel Thermal ****S is open to guests over 16 years of age.

Can I smoke in the hotels?

Our spa hotels are managed as non-smoking hotels. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms and public hotel areas.

Can I take my dog with me?

Dogs are very welcome in our 4*S spa hotels.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in our restaurant and spa areas. In case of heavy soiling of the room, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning effort on the day of departure. 

Cancellation conditions

What are the full cancellation policies of the hotels?

Sometimes everything comes differently than you think. If you can not start your vacation for various reasons, please understand that we charge cancellation fees. We therefore recommend that you take out our cancellation protection. Our cancellation conditions are as follows:

  • Price per person per night for 1-3 nights EUR 15,00
  • Price per person per night for 4-7 nights EUR 10,00
  • Price per person per night from 7 nights EUR 5,00

Cancellation is possible until 1 day before arrival. The cancellation fee will not be refunded. In case of no-show, the cancellation conditions of the booking confirmation apply. In case of a deposit, the cancellation protection amount will be taken into account. The cancellation protection takes effect after receipt of the deposit, which must be at least the amount of the cancellation protection and must be received in our account until 14 days before arrival.

Our cancellation conditions for individual bookings: 

  • until 1 month before arrival - no cancellation conditions
  • from 1 month before arrival - 40% of the room rate    
  • from 1 week before arrival - 90% of the room rate

The Austrian Hotel Contract Terms and Conditions shall apply as the basis of business. All agreements made are subject to these. Austrian law shall apply. Contents and prices subject to printing errors. 

Can I insure my trip?

I eat a vegan diet exclusively. Is there also a purely plant-based cuisine?

We are Austria's only resort where you can eat a purely plant-based diet during your spa stay. Our guests can choose daily between a vegan and a hearty dish.  

Whether you want to eat vegan during your stay or prefer to choose the savory option is, of course, entirely up to you. We see this vegan offer as an exciting and healthy alternative, which is also an invitation to try and taste. 

My:e sweetheart:r wants to visit me for a few days during the cure/GVA. Are there any offers for my partner?

We offer a partner offer for couples, where you can stay together in a double room in the spa hotels. Your partner can visit you during your spa stay and thus also experience the benefits of the REDUCE health resort. Our guests can choose between 3 offers.

What is the course of a cure/GVA at REDUCE health resort?

At the beginning of your stay at the spa, our spa physicians will perform an initial examination. Afterwards your therapy plan will be individually designed and then you can start. The cure in Bad Tatzmannsdorf consists of active and passive treatments. Passive treatments are, for example, massages or packs with the Bad Tatzmannsdorf healing moor. Active treatments include, for example, therapeutic gymnastics or physiotherapy. 

During your stay there is an intermediate examination. Here the course of the cure is observed and therapy applications are corrected and changed in case of Badarf. At the end of the cure/GVA there is a final check-up to determine how much your health has improved.

What are the full cancellation terms of REDUCE spa hotels?

Our cancellation conditions for the spa hotels:
- Up to one week before arrival - no cancellation fee provided for private or spa guests
- For spa guests a maximum of 2 rescheduled appointments are possible (the third appointment must be taken)
- From one week before arrival for private guests in the spa hotels the cancellation fee is 40% of the arrangement (including booked therapy packages) for the entire period of the stay (except for proven medical reasons, death in the close family circle or postponement of the appointment).
- In case of cancellation of visitor's packages during the stay (up to 5 nights) one night's accommodation (room with breakfast) will be charged as cancellation fee
- In case of cancellation of an arrangement during the stay resp. from the day of arrival, the cancellation fee for private guests in the spa hotels from 6 nights is 80% of the arrangement (including booked therapy packages) for the entire period of the stay
- In case of early departure for private reasons and without the approval of the competent social security agency, the cancellation fee is 48 euros per day and the guest must sign a reverse
