Trainee interview
Bad Tatzmannsdorf, January 18, 2018. Three who went out to gain experience abroad and one who took first place at the 2017 national championships. The apprentices at REDUCE GESUNDHEITSRESORT BAD TATZMANNSDORF convince every time anew with skill, talent and with their passion for gastronomy and the hotel industry. Melina Blauensteiner is after completed hotel & catering apprenticeship in the middle of the Matura preparation and thinks gladly back to her foreign practical course in Brighton (England): "The contact with international public and the employment in all ranges of a guest house, all these are experiences, which I would not like to miss." Daily contact with guests is particularly close to Sabrina Ulreich's heart. Even after her training as a hotel & hospitality assistant (HGA), she would like to continue working at the reception. She spent her internship abroad in Lion (France), where she supported the service crew in the restaurant. Simone Heiling improved her Italian in Nicotera (Italy), where she also learned a lot about service. Her goals? "Matura, earning money on season or studying - For me, all paths are open, I don't want to commit myself yet," says the approaching HGA assistant. One who really needs to know gives interested young people some advice: "With a good dose of ambition and self-interest, the catering industry offers excellent opportunities and varied career prospects, even back home," says Leonardo Angenendt. He is completing the double apprenticeship for restaurant specialist & cook and this year was awarded gold at the state championship for tourism professions.
