Anniversary church festival in Bad Tatzmannsdorf

Music by Dieter Bencsics and "Die Olbendorfer" provide atmospheric Kirtag fun! The enjoyment market pitches its tents and Burgenland producers invite you to explore and marvel. An entertaining program for young and old with a bouncy castle, basket weaver and show smithy awaits the visitors. The open-air museum opens its doors for a free tour. At 2:00 p.m. Marlene Harmtodt will give a cheerful reading in the Kellerstöckel. There are also great prizes to be won in the anniversary raffle! (Note: Start 10:00 o'clock! About DAZUMAL Open-air museum & arcade wine tavern

The open-air museum Bad Tatzmannsdorf is considered the oldest of its kind in Burgenland and is listed by domestic and foreign tourism Internet portals in the leading position of the sights of Bad Tatzmannsdorf and surroundings. In the museum complex different traditional building types from the region of southern Burgenland were gathered, such as residential buildings, barns and other larger and smaller utility buildings, of which nowadays only a few examples are left. Thus, on the one hand, their substance was saved from disappearing and, on the other hand, they provide visitors with an overview of rural building in pre-modern times.

Dazumal is the jubilee campaign for the birthday celebration of Burgenland's first open-air museum. At the beginning of the anniversary year, a new name for the entire museum area, including the arcaded wine tavern, was launched. DAZUMAL stands for the life of yesteryear and the enjoyment of today. Thus one would like to unite the museum offer steeped in tradition with burgenländischer Kulinarik to a small, fine experience world.
