At 32°C to 34°C, it comes from a depth of 896 meters. As an effective therapy or simply for relaxation
Only tapped in 1988, the thermal water from Bad Tatzmannsdorf has all the prerequisites to be classified as mineral thermal water. The beneficial relaxation of the musculature is in the first place. Forms the basis for numerous targeted therapies. Revives body and soul. Everyday life flows away as if by itself. Dive in, breathe a sigh of relief ... enjoy the spa as a fountain of health during a vacation or spa stay.
Any water that has a total mineralization of at least 1,000 mg/l is called a mineral water. Any water that has a temperature of at least 20° C at the point of discharge is, by definition, thermal water. Since in the analysis of the Bad Tatzmannsdorf thermal water both values are far exceeded, it is a mineral thermal water. Not to be confused with the carbonated waters of Bad Tatzmannsdorf.
In 1988, the REDUCE health resort Bad Tatzmannsdorf brought this healing treasure to light after extensive drilling work. The spring has the following healing properties:
A special form of therapy in thermal water is the extension treatment of the spine (hydroextension) developed in Bad Tatzmannsdorf. This involves a gentle but effective stretching of the spine through the pull of a weight belt. The relaxing effect of the thermal water on the muscles makes this possible.
The stretching of the spine causes the vertebral bodies of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar portions to move away from each other in a track-wise manner, allowing the intervertebral discs located between them, which consist mainly of cartilaginous tissue, to swell more. The intervertebral discs "recover", so to speak, which can be objectified overall by a measurable increase in length of the body by a few millimeters and which lasts for a few hours.
In addition to lasting pain reduction, which with appropriate accompanying measures offers the chance of a life without back pain, the system also serves to prevent herniated discs. Another effect is the relief of nerve roots, especially in the lumbar and sacral region, which can have a positive influence on "sciatica-like" complaints, for example.
This type of treatment has been able to treat back and lower back pain and cramps even in top athletes.
*An X-ray of the spine is required in order to carry out the spinal extension properly. If no X-ray is available, our office can issue a referral to Dr. Eva Maria Wagner, Röntgeninstitut Oberwart.
