Bad Tatzmannsdorf, August 21, 2024 | Celebrate like back then and experience Kirtagsgaudi full of tradition and enjoyment at DAZUMAL Arkadenheuriger & Freilichtmuseum.

In September, it's time for the Kirtag again! This time, traditions will be celebrated on two days with an entertaining supporting program. The Dämmershoppen on Saturday, September 7th starts with live music from Sound of Joy. On Sunday, September 8, the Frühschoppen takes place from 10 a.m. with all-day atmospheric live music, accompanied by the traditional beer tapping. Sunday has a lot to offer musically: the Tamburizza group Novi, the Tiefenbacher Dorfmusikanten and entertainer Alexander. The festival meadow once again offers delicious delicacies, while the gourmet market at DAZUMAL Freilichtmuseum invites you to stroll and discover. All guests can experience the pulse of the past on a free tour of the open-air museum. There is also a varied program for the youngest guests with magic shows, a bouncy castle and face painting. In short: a weekend full of tradition and fun! (Note: The Kirtag is an outdoor event. In case of bad weather, only a limited program is possible).

The open-air museum Bad Tatzmannsdorf is considered the oldest of its kind in Burgenland and is listed by domestic and foreign tourism Internet portals in the leading position of the sights of Bad Tatzmannsdorf and surroundings. In the museum complex different traditional building types from the region of southern Burgenland were gathered, such as residential buildings, barns and other larger and smaller utility buildings, of which nowadays only a few examples are left. Thus, on the one hand, their substance was saved from disappearing and, on the other hand, they provide visitors with an overview of rural building in pre-modern times. DAZUMAL stands for life of the past and the enjoyment of today. The aim is to combine a museum rich in tradition with Burgenland culinary delights to create a small, fine world of experience.
