REDUCE Gesundheitsresort Bad Tatzmannsdorf is breaking new ground in terms of nature conservation and safety: the entire tree population in the resort's grounds, including the traditional Kurpark and Vogelsangwald forest, has now been professionally recorded and assessed with a comprehensive tree register .

A total of 1,423 trees were inventoried, health-checked and integrated into a digital system by the company Arbsolutions OG, under the direction of Stefan Landauer and Maximilian Unterberger. Although the tree population had already been looked after with great care in the past, the tree register takes care to a new, evidence-based level: regular checks guarantee that diseased trees or trees at risk of breaking can be identified in good time and measures taken - in line with ecological responsibility.

"Nature is our stage for regeneration and healing. Our guests enjoy walks through the Kurpark not only because of the fresh air, but also because of the direct experience of an intact natural landscape. This is precisely why it is our duty to preserve this space," emphasizes Andreas Leitner, Managing Director of REDUCE Gesundheitsresort Bad Tatzmannsdorf.

With drone and sniffer dog Nori
Modern technologies are also used to support the project: drones enable precise aerial photography of the treetops, while a specially trained sniffer dog helps to identify harmful fungi in the root area - an innovative approach that significantly increases the efficiency and accuracy of tree inspections.

Stefan Landauer, Project Manager at Arbsolutions, explains: "Our aim was to create a holistic solution for the REDUCE health resort that takes into account both the safety of guests and the long-term vitality of the tree landscape. The cadastre forms the basis for sustainable, constantly evolving nature management."
