In this workshop with massage therapist and author Hannes Steiger, you will learn how specific acupressure points can be used to promote well-being and support the body's self-healing powers.

EXERCISE & TRAINING 

  • Get moving and stay healthy
    How can you integrate more exercise into your everyday life? In this unit, you will receive practical tips and simple exercises that you can use to increase your activity in daily life. The goal is to implement small changes with a big impact—for greater well-being and long-term health.

  • Say goodbye to back pain
    Targeted exercises to strengthen the back and core muscles support a healthy back. By training the stabilizing muscles, improving posture, and promoting mobility, tension can be released and discomfort reduced.

  • Functional Movement Screen
    The Functional Movement Screen analyzes basic movement patterns of the body. It tests mobility, stability, and coordination. The results help to identify individual weaknesses or imbalances and improve them in a targeted manner.

  • Mobilize & Stretch – flexible ease
    Gentle, dynamic movements activate joints and muscles. Complemented by targeted stretching exercises, flexibility is improved and muscle shortening is prevented. The result is a lighter, freer feeling of movement in everyday life.

  • Fascia training – finding fascial balance
    Special exercises activate and maintain the fascia – the connective tissue in our body. The training supports the elasticity of the tissue, promotes mobility, and can relieve tension.

  • Cellulite Training - Get in Shape
    This targeted training focuses on strengthening the muscles in problem areas such as the stomach, legs, and buttocks. Activating exercises strengthen the muscles and support body shaping. We particularly recommend combining this with our cellulite massages.

  • Pilates – Strength from the core
    Pilates primarily strengthens the deep abdominal, back, and pelvic floor muscles. The controlled movements promote stability, posture, and body awareness. At the same time, the training improves flexibility and coordination.


WORKSHOPS 
with kickboxing world and European champion Nicole Trimmel 

  • Shoulder relaxation
    A specially developed program for strengthening, loosening, and relaxing the shoulder and neck region. After an extraordinary professional career with over 400 fights and numerous titles, Nicole Trimmel has transferred her knowledge of body awareness and functional training into an effective mobility and relaxation format.
    The course combines targeted mobilization exercises, gentle stretching sequences, and practical tips from top-level sports to release tension, improve posture, and create more freedom of movement in everyday life.

     

  • Kickboxing workshop: "Kick it like Nicole
    In this introductory session, the multiple kickboxing world champion provides exciting insights into the world of kickboxing. The workout combines strength training, flexibility, coordination, and focus with elements from martial arts. The focus is on core exercises combined with kickboxing techniques. The course is suitable for beginners—no previous experience is necessary. The content will be tailored to the participants individually.

In addition to her research activities at JKU, Dr. Macedonia inspires a wide audience through lectures, books, and media appearances, in which she conveys complex neurobiological concepts in an understandable and practical way.

As a massage therapist, she decided to train as a yoga teacher in 2015. This was followed by numerous further training courses, including in yoga and medicine. One training course took her all the way to India. With a holistic approach, focusing on breathing and meditation, she makes yoga accessible to everyone in all stages of life – for harmony of body, mind, and soul.

Hannes Steiger has been working as a massage therapist at REDUCE in Bad Tatzmannsdorf for 50 years. After a study trip to China, acupressure became his passion. He shares his extensive knowledge of targeted acupressure massage in workshops, lectures, massages, and books.
